Dr. Katlyn Currie attended Middle Tennessee State University where she majored in Animal Science with a minor in both Biology and Chemistry. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. Here, she received the Large Animal Award in veterinary medicine.She worked her first three years at Williams Animal Hospital in Murfreesboro, where she practiced both large and small animal medicine. Dr. Currie’s fourth year was spent at Woodbury Veterinary Hospital. This year, she has practiced at Animal Medical Center in Murfreesboro while preparing to open her own vet clinic along with Dr. Christy Young. Dr. Currie is looking forward to serving the Cannon County community and the surrounding area in her own clinic. She plans to practice both large and small animal medicine.
